Advancing Inclusion

Inclusion and belonging are at the core of National University’s vision, mission, and ways of working. In this workshop, faculty share and explore effective inclusive practices for providing content that helps foster our students’ experience of belonging. Full-time and part-time faculty guest speakers share their expertise, and NU librarians preview an exciting grant opportunity for OER creation and adaptation by NU faculty, students, and staff.

As we continue to learn about inclusion and belonging in the online classroom these workshop resources focus on culturally responsive teaching practices.  We discuss our role as change agents to promote an equitable learning environment for our NU students and explore what it means to be a Hispanic Serving Institution.
